In about 24 hours and... 20 minutes Ross and I will be taking off for sunny London!
Here's the plan: We arrive in London 25 June. Spend until 3 July meeting up with my sister, my parents, Laura-from-Italy and anyone else we can badger into having a drink with us. 4-7 July we're in Edinburgh. 8-10 July we're in Paris. Leave on Fri 13 July, hopefully on a nearly empty plane with lots of room to stretch out.
I have sleepy pills to shut me the hell up on the plane. I hate planes.

Right about now, I should have been bidding on a gloriously beautiful and sporty new car on Trademe, having taken it for a test drive, had an AA check done and conveyed to the sellers how extremely serious I was about it. Instead, the bastards withdrew the auction this morning after accepting a cash offer out of the blue. Thanks guys.
Add to this the crippling pains in my neck, shoulder and thumb from playing in a show every night, plus the fact that in tonight's show I will be playing on a substandard reed due to an unfortunate prank last night involving a large stuffed snake and my instrument getting knocked over, and you get one incredibly grumptious Amy who just got reprimanded for her improper language when complaining about the fact there are SIX OF US sharing ONE PHONE at the moment. Ridiculous.
There's a bright side though. I'm about to have a massage which should sort out the neck and whatnot, and I'm making some headway with my application to uni - my first (crappy) article going up on nzgirl next week, which means I'll have something to put in my 'portfolio of published work'.

so so sunburnt. face, back of neck and shoulders, legs, watch mark. ow ow ow. i actually think the back of neck one might blister. ow.
i am very gloomy PMS today. the only things that would fix it would be ross putting money on his phone so he could text me for the first time in days and days, or ross getting round to giving me all the presents he keeps saying he owes me. or just time to get over my selfish self. while working hard maybe. interesting concept.
it was actually a really cool weekend and i had lots of fun at chelseabun's hen night. but i am so not in the right frame of mind to start a new week.

by the way, did anyone else turn over to C4 after Idol last night and catch the 'every fiona mcdonald video ever made' show?
she was sooo much cooler back then. oh how the mighty have fallen etc. although according to Very Useful Friend (VUF) she's still a lovely person backstage, just a bitchy weeping freak when judging.
